      <image:caption>Stephanie Thorne has thirteen years of experience in the field of speech-language pathology. She graduated from James Madison University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies and a minor in Early Childhood Education. In 2007 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She earned a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from James Madison University in 2009. She is licensed to practice in Virginia through the Department of Health Professions and is a member of ASHA, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has experience working in a pediatric outpatient hospital and in various public-school settings. She uses an Orton-Gillingham approach to reading instruction. She specializes in the treatment of dyslexia and reading disorders, articulation, and early language delays. She resides in Gloucester with her husband, Josh, two children, Arabella and Asher, two dogs, Jasper and Tilly, and their backyard chickens.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - Nicole aldridge, M.S., CCC-SLP Nicole Aldridge has a passion for receiving this gift of life and walking alongside other's to help them do the same. She earned her Master's degree in speech language pathology with teaching certification from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY in 2010. She holds certifications in ministry from Freedom School of Ministry as well as her Stephen Ministry certification. A forever student, Nicole has recently earned her Beckman Oral Motor training as well as Tether Oral Tissue (TOTs) training. After walking through the difficulties associated with tethered oral tissues (tongue tie, TOTs) with her own children, she is particularly passionate about helping others with TOTs. She enjoys meeting others where they are and helping them and their caregivers to grow as best as they are able. She and her husband have lived in the Hampton Roads area since 2010. Nicole enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.</image:title>

      <image:caption>Maegan Branton was born and raised in the Hampton Roads community. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Special Education. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree from Radford University in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2005. During her studies, she had the opportunity to complete research and attend an Operation Smile Mission working with children with Cleft Palate and middle ear disease.  She is licensed to practice in Virginia through the Department of Health Professions and is a member of ASHA, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has seventeen years of professional experience in the field of Speech Language Pathology.  Before Sprouting Roots, Maegan worked in an outpatient pediatric hospital for fifteen years where she has had the pleasure of treating a wide variety of diagnoses.  She is trained in the Orton-Gillingham method for diagnosing and treating dyslexia and other related reading and writing disorders.  She is trained in the treatment of Voice Disorders with specialty training in treating Vocal Cord Dysfunction, VCD. She currently resides in Newport News Virginia with her husband, Cleve, three children, Grayson, Adelyn and Scout and their dog, Opal.</image:caption>
